John McCarron

Investment Portfolio Manager

John McCarron is the Investment Portfolio Manager at Hoffmann Family of Companies, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of investments across multiple industries. In this role, he identifies strategic investment opportunities, conducts in-depth financial analyses, and manages existing assets to ensure alignment with the company’s long-term growth objectives.

John earned a degree in Applied Economics and Management, specializing in Finance, from Cornell University in 2015. While at Cornell, he captained the hockey team and was a member of The Sphinx Head Society. His academic background provided a solid foundation for his career in investment management, equipping him with the analytical skills and financial acumen necessary to navigate complex investment landscapes.

Before joining HF Companies, John built his expertise in the wealth management industry, earning his CFP designation. Prior to his finance career, he was a professional hockey player, drafted in 2012 by the Edmonton Oilers. He spent seven seasons playing for the Florida Everblades, serving as captain and leading the team to back-to-back championships before retiring.

A native of Grosse Pointe, MI, John now resides in Estero, FL, with his wife, Rosanna, and their two daughters.
