Estero Life Magazine’s Cover Story Featuring New Hertz Arena Owner David Hoffmann

David Hoffmann has been making waves on the Gulf Coast with his Hoffmann Family of Companies. Most notably, Hoffmann recently purchased the Hertz Arena as well as the Florida Everblades, SWFL’s professional hockey team.

As soon as the purchase contracts were signed, Hoffmann spared to time to get underway for a complete renovation. The 8,284-capacity, multi-purpose arena will see a $10-12 million dollar improvement including enhanced skyboxes, food services, a Category 5 hurricane strength roof, and installation of a state of the art scoreboard.

Estero Life Magazine sat down with David Hoffman to talk about the big changes coming to the arena.  Fans can be expected to be wowed by a new video scoreboard and sound system, the renovated Breakaway Sports Pub and Hertz #1 Club, as well as enhanced landscaping, Estero Life Magazine reports.

This will be a very unique venue. Lots of improvements will be seen by all who attend the game.

In addition, Hoffmann stated that they had been looking to purchase a professional sports team for about a decade. The acquisition brings a level of diversification to Hoffmann Family of Companies’ portfolio among the national and local properties.  Estero Life Magazine also states that the purchase was not just business, but personal as well, as Hoffmann has four grandsons who play ice hockey.
