Hoffmann Media Group, the parent company of Florida Weekly, Florida Health Care News, and IFoundMyDoctor.com, has announced four new executive appointments.
Angela Schvinski, Cindy Giles, and Alisa Bowman have been promoted to senior management roles. Also announced, Fort Myers native Melissa Vogt has joined the media group as market director for Lee County, Florida.

Their extensive backgrounds in sales, marketing, and production will bring valuable perspectives to our growing media company,” stated Hoffmann Media Group CEO J. Pason Gaddis. “These hires further enhance our existing and talented management team and highlight Hoffmann Media Group’s journey towards becoming a large local media company” added Gaddis.
As Publisher of the newly acquired Florida Health Care News, Ms. Schivinski will oversee all aspects of its medical publications along with investments in IFoundMyDoctor.com . She will report directly to CEO J. Pason Gaddis.
As Group Publisher and Director of Operations of Florida Weekly, Ms. Giles will oversee all aspects of the sales, circulation, and marketing teams replacing Mr. Gaddis.
As Production Manager for Hoffmann Media Group, Ms. Bowman will oversee all aspects of production, IT, commercial printing, and websites for the media company, replacing Florida Weekly co-founder James Dickerson, retiring from his position effective March 1st.
As Market Director of Lee County, Ms. Vogt will oversee Florida Weekly’s sales, circulation, and marketing team replacing Ms. Schivinski.

About Angela Schivinski
Ms. Schivinski is a seasoned executive with a background in print and all facets of digital media, most recently serving as the Lee County Director of Florida Weekly where she was responsible for all aspects of market management including leading the advertising sales team, generating revenue-producing ideas, and community outreach. Her healthcare knowledge began in diagnostic imaging and grew into other specialties. Off the clock, she serves on the Board of Directors for multiple not-for-profits and is an avid equestrian.
About Cindy Giles
Mrs. Giles brings more than 30 years of media experience to Florida Weekly, most recently serving as Director-Palm Beach County at Florida Weekly where she was responsible for all aspects of the market management. Prior to Florida Weekly, Mrs. Giles held management roles at Gannett, where she was awarded multiple times for top sales. Mrs. Giles also owned and operated a successful Direct Mail company for 20+ years. She is a Florida native and lives in Jupiter, Florida with her husband Charlie.
About Alisa Bowman
Ms. Bowman has a diverse background in media publications bringing over 20 years of experience in the print and digital industry, most recently serving as Production Manager at Florida Weekly where she has been responsible for all aspects of the management of the production and graphic design teams. Before Florida Weekly, Ms. Bowman was the Creative Services Director for a national catalog company and also managed a small printing company in Western North Carolina. She has been in Southwest Florida for 10 years and lives in Cape Coral.
About Melissa Vogt
Ms. Vogt is a strong sales and marketing executive who brings decades of experience to Florida Weekly. She spent 24 years at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre where she had multiple roles and recently general manager and marketing director. Her recent responsibilities included leading the company’s marketing and public relations strategies while overseeing the day-to-day operations and business development. Ms. Vogt is a long-time resident of Fort Myers and serves on numerous boards within the community.
