CDN Controls: Powering the Future of Energy Innovation

Founded in 2011 in Alberta, CDN Controls quickly established itself as Western Canada’s leader in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, automation, communication, and renewable energy services, including solar power. With a dedicated team of over 700 employees and contractors, the company is committed to excellence in performance, measurement, and safety across its 12 branches and six formal Indigenous partnerships.

The 2024 partnership with HF Companies marked a transformative milestone, providing CDN with the capital and opportunities to fuel rapid growth and enhance its business foundation. Positioned at the forefront of the global energy transition, CDN is driving innovation and advancing energy infrastructure. In 2024 alone, the company dedicated 1,349,920 hours to energy services work, expanded its team to 875 skilled professionals, and achieved major successes in the solar sector, including selling over 2.2 million meters of wire and wiring 100,000 solar panels.

With the acquisition of Superior Optimization, CDN has made significant inroads into the U.S. market under its new brand, CAVIS Energy Corp, signaling an exciting new chapter in its pursuit of industry leadership.
